I work as a retreat photographer in Cologne and across Europe, documenting retreats through a sensitive, and discreet photographic approach.
My intention is to capture the essence of the experience as it unfolds, the atmosphere, the connections, the quiet moments as well as the shared ones, creating images that truly reflect the spirit of the retreat and help you share your mission with the world.
Retreat photography rooted in presence
My approach to retreat photography is grounded in adapting and observation.
I move gently within the space, allowing moments to arise naturally rather than directing or interrupting the flow of the retreat. By staying attentive to the rhythm of the group, the environment and the subtle interactions, I create images that feel organic, alive and deeply connected to the lived experience.
This way of photographing allows the retreat to remain what it is meant to be: a safe, held and uninterrupted space for the participants. I use a silent camera so my presence and the camera are even less disrupting.
The images created during a retreat can support your communication, future offerings and visibility, while staying faithful to the values and atmosphere you cultivate.

I am currently based in Cologne, Germany, and available to photograph retreats in the region and surrounding areas.
I also regularly travel across Germany and Europe to accompany retreats in natural settings or retreat centers. Each project is approached with flexibility and clarity around logistics and travel.

Each retreat is unique as well as your needs & wishes. I can be present for a day as well as multiple days. I also offer videography & massages, which can be added to my photography work.

I’m Elina, a photographer working across Europe, mainly in France and Germany.
My approach to photography is rooted in presence and sensitivity. I like to see my camera & its lens as an extension of my eye with which I am witnessing moments as they unfold, and translating what is alive into visual stories that feel true.
I work with women and facilitators who value authenticity and who wish to be seen in the vulnerability and beauty of their heart. Whether I am photographing a branding session, a retreat or a wedding, I create a space where trust and co-creation become core qualities.
My background in holistic and embodied practices strongly informs the way I photograph. I pay attention to rhythm, movement, emotion and atmosphere, allowing each session to unfold at its own pace. Leaving room for what wants to be expressed and accompanying you in the process.
