Rite of the Womb hosted by Lisa at Ritmo da Terra Aljezur.
My words after being part of that sacred space:
Connecting to this space that represents our femininity, our power, our creative strength.
Connecting to this space to cleanse it of its memories, traumas and blockages.
Connecting to this space, our womb which carries our wounds, our wisdom, our lineage from past generations and those to come.
Giving back the voice to a part of our body that we kept silent for generations.
Out of shame, fear, embarrassment.
And yet this is where our power lies, our cyclicity and uniqueness, our ability to give birth to life, our power to create.

She was with us photographing a womb healing ceremony and she could create such a setting where everyone felt comfortable and could still travel deep into their process even though their picture was taken.
